It looks deep, but this water was barely a foot deep in most places. Still, it doesn't take much water to float a person when you're petite like our girls.

Nadja on the infamous Stinging Swinging Bridge....The evening before we had all gone to a longer swinging bridge over the Clinch River. I started up first, followed by Cait, and then Nadja, who promptly got stung by bees. Seems that Cait and I had stirred up a nest! Well, Nadja climbed up on this bridge over Copper Creek and got stung again! Mike and I had both been over the bridge, but only Nadja woke up the bees. Lexi got stung the next evening in the backyard, making three of us who battled the bees!
We all survived.
