As usual, this is long overdue....but what can I say? I'm just a bad, bad blogger.
To celebrate the first day of summer Nadja made headpieces of kudzu vine, day lilies, and daisies for all the girls. Much to Cait's chagrin, her Mom and I got over-excited, and decided that with her long hair and her pretty flowers, she looked just like a little earth goddess. All she needed was a long white dress.....
.... and of course, Granny had one in her closet! Doesn't she look just like Mother Nature with all that green behind her?
We seized the opportunity for a photo shoot, and here Alex and Cait pose.
Although Cait hated dressing up, she was a pretty good sport. Not a word of complaint did I hear - only about a hundred heavy sighs!
Lately it seems that every time a take a picture of Alex she looks another year older. I guess she really will be old enough to drive next year.
I love taking pictures here....there's not a bad background anywhere. Doesn't Alex look pretty in her new dress?
Nadja took a turn as the goddess, too, and twirled around in her dress (which was really a nightgown, but don't tell anyone).
