After a lifetime in south central Pennsylvania, my husband Tom and I moved to Scott County, Virginia, where my mother, Zella Mae Peters, was born and raised. These are our adventures.
In 2008 Tom and I sold our house, packed our bags. and left Pennsylvania to live in beautiful southwestern Virginia. This is the country where my parents were born and raised and I felt a strong pull to be here in these ancient mountains.
Unfortunately, illness struck us both and I wasn't able to keep up with this blog. But I'm going to give it another try and we'll see how it goes.

Jen's husband, Matt, works at the York Daily Record newspaper in York, PA. Every Christmas one of the photographers does a photo shoot for employees and their families. Here are a few shots of Matt, Jen and the girls. Two smiles and two half-smiles. Not bad!
The littlest member of the family - Ella Nicole Anderson
